Grilled Tuna Steak with Smoked Salt

Serves: 2

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 tuna steaks (about 6 oz each)

  • 1 tsp Smoked Salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for extra depth)

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with a paper towel. Rub both sides with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, Smoked Salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and minced garlic.

  2. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Sear the tuna for about 2-3 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or longer if you prefer it more cooked.

  3. Remove from the heat and let the tuna rest for a minute.

Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and fresh lemon juice. Garnish with basil or parsley and serve immediately.
